Fulton Street Gallery 2007 Summer Residency Program for Members Only
Deadline May 1, 2007 ’Äî Notification May 15, 2007
The purpose of this program is to give artist members an opportunity to produce new works. This residency is best for artists who have been exhibiting artists for at least three years and who are interested in using this time (with limited distractions) to take their work to a new level. Residencies are one or two weeks in the gallery space. The artist may use the space for exhibiting past and present work and as a studio. The artist may use the space 24 hours if they wish, but must be open to meet with the public between the hours of noon’Äî5 p.m. week days and Saturdays. Sundays are off.
As for content ’Äî we wish to showcase artists who show growth in their work.
We are a small non-profit with a street level gallery space ’Äî comprised of two rooms and a balcony. There is some equipment on site, a kiln, etching press, and a darkroom within the building. Also available are mat cutters and shrink wrapping. The artist is encouraged to meet with the public. These meetings can be informal or through open lectures or workshops.
The Fulton Street Gallery provides artists:
